i listened to the new BTS album even though i don't like BTS

this album review is late because i had to perform some dark magic to stop the video from instantly getting copyright claimed by bighit entertainment LOL there's literally 4 entire minutes worth of BTS' music in this video because i wanted to show you guys the various parts i was talking about. i somehow accomplished that . . . scary. anyway, if i were to do another K-pop review as someone who doesn't care about K-pop, what group would you recommend?

As a huge bts fan i always appreciate honest reviews like this. Although i love the songs, its unrealistic to expect everyone to like it too and i love how honest you were. Great review.

Of course he said he likes all those other rappers with auto tune and stuff that irritates me it’s like people don’t have a well rounded music style on only stick to rappers now days that actually suck I say that BTS rappers like Suga RM and j-hope rap better then some of today’s rappers

I totally agree with your opinions on MOTS: Persona. Songs like BWL, Make it Right and Dionysus were SO over produced. Not at all the boys' fault because their vocals, rap and lyrics are beautiful, but the production is literally all over the place. And I got so much hate for not LOVING the album when it first came out :|

The only reason i disliked the video is that "inner child" song doesn't deserve the criticism, you must have talked about the lyrics and concept of this song which is amazing in my opinion.

My personal favourite is Red Velvet. Their discography is mostly Pop and R&B and their albums have pretty decent music. They might not be that interesting lyrically(generic kpop love song lyrics) but their music sure as hell is. All in favour of D'angelo reviewing other Kpop groups say Aye. P.S. Red Velvets music doesn't have heavy autotune so...

I’m a BTS Stan like I REALLY like BTS and when this popped up on my yt tl I was like “uh oh another youtuber finna talk some unnecessary shit about BTS I really hope I won’t have to unsubscribe cuz I like him” but I loved this video so much I disagreed with VERY little of what you said and agreed with a lot because this is actually my least favorite BTS album ngl you should make this a series it would probably get you a lot of views and ik the album review thingy is alr a series I’m just talking about you reacting to BTS albums.. i think the review is rly good but like the only thing that made me a bit 😐😑 was when he mentioned the auto tune like yea ig they do use auto tune but they don’t use it as much as you say they do, their voices are just naturally like that lol. in their live performances (which they don’t use auto tune at all), their voices sound almost exactly the same as the track

the only thing i could "agree to disagree" is the autotune because i mean they do use it im not at all saying they dont, but bc of the production i think it all does sound maybe a little robotic and 'electro-pop'ish and makes it sound autotuned but they didnt use as much as you think, their actual voice sounds pretty consistent to live performances. everytime it was mentioned it did make me itch a little bc its not that as much but its fair criticism all the same. some songs made me sad to hear your opinion cause i love them but go ham on ON ft sia most of us hate it

Also the fact that that some fans are toxic becoz of the fact that bts have received so much hate in their initial days regardless of their talent eg-death threats and not being invited to shows that's why the savage and protective mode of armyy was activated from that point of time because they just want to protect the boys from unnecessary criticism bcoz of their looks and their language😔and we always accept honest criticism for their songs but not for their looks and language cause we never judged Kanye for looks or despacito for language🙂

Not all the sound effects that you hear is autotune. Ever heard about the flanging effects aka reverberation? A song is boring when it's a plain or just a raw recording of their voices then just throw the beat and the bass etc. But amyways, it's so good to have someone who judges them by exploring their songs first before hating. And shadow is also my favorite track. 😁

You should review another one of their albums. This album is probably the worst one they made imo. Not saying this one was bad tho. It just didn't hit

im so angry and happy at the same time...help- this guy obviously isnt into KPOP and honestly, great! most of my friends arent into kpop either and i love them. when he started talking about the autotune, i started to get really mad (since usually, whenever someone talks about autotune they say it as an insult) , but then i just thought: "their live performances are so much better than the actual song though" and thats when i kind of realised that saying that there is autotune on a song isnt necessarily a bad thing, as long as the artists can sing well without being in an MV or having a MIC, you don't really have a reason to hate on them for using autotune. if u take a look at jungkook's video of him singing euphoria in his room, u can see hes got miraculous vocals. also the way he criticises the song, but also says some really amazing compliments. this guy is wonderful

Try Dreamcatcher's Tree of Language album, LOONA, or for more clicks, Twice's Eyes Wide Open or Blackpink's The Album. A lot of companies don't really focus as much on albums now as they just do on the title tracks with MVs that rack up EEheat views. Usually discography overall is better for less popular groups or more album oriented ones. But since you are looking into lyrics, if you do like some rock based stuff, I'd put Dreamcatcher's near the top for you just because this album and the two EPs that follow it all deal with the power of language and its intersection with technology.

Honestly, I agree with ‘Boy with Luv’ on some parts. Hasley DIDNT need to be there! Honestly! 9:06 - My time also has a deeper meaning to it. Some think he is talking about a lover/girlfriend/partner but he is actually singing about his lost childhood. Jungkook never really got to spend his childhood like a kid. (He was scouted at the age of 15 and was a trainee from the age of 13!) He was constantly working his butt off for BTS and was always working hard. This song really resembles Jungkook! But, the song hits differently after that ONE performance...
