i know this was like a year ago but not to have an ego or anything but uh. pkrussl's animation meme review series is what killed my motivation for any sort of animation and when it was relevant and when i watched it i think it was about 2 or so years ago? so?? my point is young animators are actually being affected/were affected by his dumbass! he always spouted things basically adding up to "you need to be like a disney animator in order to make something good" in those animation meme review videos and it was genuinely just. Ugh. i literally have no motivation or drive to finish any kind of animation now because of his series and before i watched that shit i animated very often and could finish something decent in two days :')

I saw the title and was like “that name is familiar... who is he?”. I heard animation meme and I was like “oh my god”. I used to watch him but his content was too intense for me. He has some good points? But usually he really doesn’t provide proof or experience for anything he says.

I don’t think his audience being children means he should have to be “family friendly”. Peoples audience isn’t a choice and they don’t have control over who’s viewing it. However, maybe try a little harder to put warnings before your videos that it contains nsfw themes and it isn’t for kids under a certain age
