It might be uncomfortable to accept... but victims aren't always 100% innocent. People aren't completely bad or completely good. I believe Tati was manipulated into believing James was a sexual predator. I also believe that Tati was a grown adult who should've made her decisions with that info based on what would actually help the victims, rather than prioritizing her business. Why didn't she go to the police if she thought James harmed someone? EEheat didn't need to know about it.

The most significant reason this whole James Charles drama blew up was because of the "predatory gay man that we need to take down" storyline. Had James Charles been a straight man or woman or had this just been a fallout with Tati... none of this would have snowballed the way it did. Big agree with you on: lets hold her accountable for what she said and did, WITHOUT going down the route of calling her a b'tch and a h0e, or more sexist sh't, or saying that she is too old to make mistakes. Also, side note, I have no interest in what Trisha Paytas has to say. Her identity/existence is purely: "let me see what is trending right now". I hope she figures sh't out, but she is in no place to say "I'm X age and I would never do that!". Basically, age is usually irrelevant (I get not always but if I make this any longer Ima have to make a youtube vid...) can we all just try to be mature and if people make mistakes, then we ask for accountability, rather than sending hate to everyone we disagree with. We need to stop believing the first thing we come across, especially when it is all talk and no proof (cough cough, videos like Tati's - she cast the first stone; that doesn't make her right). We need to check our subconscious/internalised biases (whether they are racial, homophobic, sexist, etc). I remember when James Charles made his 'No More Lies' video, but so many people at the time said that he was making up excuses or they couldn't be bothered to hear more drama. At which point, his name was already being thrown around at gay men like myself who were then told "we don't want to share a bathroom with you, you're a creep" or "You're gay? Get the hell away from me, why are you checking me out??" or "I don't have an issue with it if you don't talk about it" or "Oh you're gay? So what you're gonna spy on me like James Charles??" or "Don't try anything on me, I'll beat you the fvck up". Gay men are not predators, but straight people worldwide were (and many still are) ready to believe we are in a heartbeat. Thank you for the section of 34:30 onwards, yet I can't help but feel like straight people don't know just how hard this hit us. It scared me to hear that Tati knew James was staying in a top floor of a building... James may have had a support network, but many gay men are flooded with these awful accusations without that. LGBTQ+ people have the highest rates of poor mental health, mental health disorders, su'c'dal ideation and su'c'de attempts. The bare minimum anyone can do is not spread information that will increase the flood of hate towards us and as a result, increase the consequences I listed. Thank you to anyone who read all that I had to say. I'm glad people finally came round to things. Let this be a lesson to us in the present and future. Have a good day people :)

(I’m so late to this video) Shane and Jeffree are far more problematic, no disagreements with anything in this video. My personal problem with Tati is that because of some vitamins, she took a good example for the LGBT+ community and tried to make him into predator. I don’t think harm to the LGBT+ community was her intention, but lying about the fears many conservatives have about the community makes waves. Lord knows Shane and Jeffree aren’t doing it very much justice.

I watch the trilogy, but this one just put me off... I mean, this video sound really bias for real. The part where Tati said that she was afraid that James was going to attempt suicide but Shane Dawson convinced her that he was too narcissistic to do that was incredibly disturbing. People who are narcissistic or even qualify for a Narcissistic Personality Disorder diagnosis can still have suicidal thoughts and die by suicide. A quick Google search would have informed Tati of that. But instead she chose to trust Shane, who is not a mental health professional and was obviously biased against James. If she cared about how her actions could affect James, she could have attempted to clear things up in private or at very least she could have waited until James was back home before uploading the video. I believe she knew deep down that what she was about to do was wrong, but that she wanted some superficial reassurance before going ahead and doing it anyway. I can't even imagine how I would feel if someone I considered a friend and a mentor acted that way. It's good for James Charles if he's able to move past that, but I don't think their relationship can or should really recover. She has clearly shown that she only cares about him on a very superficial level, and only as long as it's convenient.

They know what they did but if they publicly admit to it, it can held against them and they can't back paddle.
